Tamy McAnsh, Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)

If you are looking for a proven professional who can help you address strain patterns of everyday life (computer use, desk work, etc.) chronic pain, old injuries or new injuries, or just looking for an opportunity to relax and be revived with an intuitive touch, then consider working with Tamy.

Tamy and Dr. Kirk married in 1984 and she has spent much of the past 33 years studying massage, while helping raise their two children and work their professional wellness practices from behind the scenes.  After staying home while their children were young, Tamy rejoined the practice full time in 2012 where she currently serves as office manager and part of the staff of Licensed Massage Therapists.  A 2015 graduate of the Institute of Natural Therapies, she is trained in a number of modalities including trigger pint therapy, Swedish massage, myofascial techniques.  She enjoys offering side-line massage to help manage painful conditions that occur in the shoulders and neck region, while allowing the recipient a premium level of comfort, most therapists reserve for the pregnant client.  Tamy often incorporates cupping therapy, which creates a vacuum on the tissue and increases local blood supply to the muscles and skin.  The offers an effective way to release restrictions in fascia as well as scar tissue.

Tamy enjoys an active life that includes a love of hiking, kayaking, camping, as well as curling up with a good biography of people who inspire.  Family time is often spent exploring new places on road trips or just hanging out in the kitchen trying new healthy recipes!
